O’Donnell Design Ltd All-Star Cork Family Run Business Award 2022

 

We are delighted to announce that, for the second year running,  we have achieved further accreditation from the All-Ireland Business Foundation
This year, we have been accredited Family-Run Business 2022, which we are proud to accept as a fourth-generation, family business, based in Skibbereen.
The award
means a lot to us and as stated by Jim O’Donnell, Director:

‘When my grandfather began making precision crafted furniture in 1902, he was guided by one simple and powerful force; furniture is
making more than just a job, it is a passion. This passion remains today.  My grandfather and uncle were furniture makers and,
as they say in West Cork, it’s in the blood’.  Today, Aodh O’Donnell, my son, works with me – four generations of furniture making!’

Technology may have changed since 1902, but the magic of caressing wood and making a piece of furniture is still there
