O’Donnells Projects named amongst London’s top hotels in GQ and Condé Nast Traveler Magazines.
According to GQ Magazine, The 4 most luxurious hotel suites in London include:
The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, Piccadilly W1.
The Wellesley Knightsbridge, 11 Knightsbridge SW1.
Marriott County Hall Hotel, Westminster Bridge Road SE1.
Mondrian London, 20 Upper Ground SE1.
2 of these Hotels which include The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane & Mondrian London both had all their new bedrooms and suites furnished by yours truly, O’Donnell Furniture Makers.
The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, Piccadilly W1
This beautiful five-star hotel on Piccadilly is a mere ten-minute stroll through Green Park to Buckingham Palace and a five-minute walk from Green Park tube station. After dinner in its 11,000-sq-ft Twenties Ballroom, check into the best hotel room in the house: the tastefully opulent 1,066-sq-ft Sheraton Grand Suite (from £1,483 per night).
The Sheraton Grand Suite
The best thing about the suite is its furniture. The attention to detail is second to none.

Before you sink into the soul-warmingly soft Sheraton Sleep Experience Bed in the bedroom (yep, it does what it says on the tin), make use of the gigantic art deco, marble bathroom for the best (roll top) bath you’ll have had all year, using Molton Brown products.
Look out from your enormous sitting room, furnished in amber and gold and interconnected with the surrounding rooms in the suite through sliding double doors, and you’ll see Royal Green Park. The space leaves ample room for entertaining guests (check out the dining room bar) but cosy enough for a night in for two. Good luck peeling yourself off that velvet sofa.
Mondrian London, 20 Upper Ground SE1
This would be your view from the Mondrian’s best room: the 700-sq-ft River View Balcony Suite (from £1,063 per night).
The River View Balcony SuiteThe suite’s furniture is custom-designed by venerated interior designer Tom Dixon, who also kitted out Mondrian London’s Dandelyan bar (and has been copied left, right and centre ever since). The large balcony, which looks directly over the Thames (no diving, please) includes vases of flowers and a table and chairs – perfect for breakfast.
We suggest a trip to Mondrian London’s large spa, the “agua Bathhouse”, for a winter afternoon pick-me-up. The spa hosts six private treatment rooms, including a couples’ suite and a private thermal suite, a nail and grooming lounge and separate male and female steam rooms with rain showers. A GLAMGLOW mud mask is in order.
The new cellar menu at Ryan Chetiyawardana’s Dandelyan bar (winner of World’s Best Cocktail Bar 2017) at the Mondrian is a thing of beauty. Curated separately to the main menu, these intricate Cellar cocktails are almost twice the price and with double the detail.
While in the other hand another one of O’Donnells most recent projects, 11 Cadogan Gardens was named the 3rd best hotel in London out of 5o hotels.
